Yoga For Healthy Aging - Dee Anna Escobedo

About Me

Dee is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher with over 200 hours of training. She holds a Yoga For Healthy Aging (YFHA) Certificate taught my Baxter Bell, MD and Melina Meza e-RYT500. She has an avid interest in the arts, outdoor activities, teaching yoga and continuing to live sharing all her knowledge to keep our bodies healthy into our Golden Years with physical activities.

My Inspiration

SAMSARAFEST 2018 was a key time for healing and moving into the Totality of Health for Dee.

Welcome SAMSARAFEST 2019!

My inspiration was the entire story of the festival organizers Laxmi (Lax) & Travis Burt (whom I had never met) however I connected to their story. When I met them, the connection was immediate and I felt both at home and included in this wonderful experience in the inaugural year, 2018.

With all of the activities which were offered, I felt supported, encouraged and accepted. By opening my heart and being brave to participate in each of the activities via SAMSARAFEST I felt a totality and fullness of healing by the festival's end.

My hope

I wish to encourage by inviting gently my students to open up their bodies and hearts. By moving through Yoga For Healthy Aging yoga techniques, I believe our maturing bodies can continue for many years to be in perfect balance. And as we mature, we continue in great health.

YFHA is designed for the body to continue into our maturing years by staying strong, flexible, balanced and agile. Cultivating equanimity is a part of this larger context of YFHA. Included in each session is Meditation, Pranayama, Asana and experiencing skills you may chose to use to manage stress and live mindfully.

We are so excited to have her with us at Samsarafest 2019! Check back for her festival schedule!
